Normand Caissie, CEO of Imperial Manufacturing Group, has been invested to the Order of Canada. Caissie was named a Member in June 2023 and invested last month. He was awarded by the Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
The rank of Member, the first of three levels to the order, recognizes an individual’s contribution to a community or field of activity. Caissie made his mark in Canada’s home improvement industry as the founder of Imperial, which today employs over 1,000 people in both Canada and the U.S. He was previously appointed to the Order of New Brunswick in 2017 and in 2010 was inducted into the Canadian Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers Association Hall of Fame.
