Home Hardware last week named its Walter J. Hachborn Store of the Year. The prestigious award went to Wilson’s Home Hardware Building Centre in Barrington Passage, N.S. The award was presented during Home Hardware’s Homecoming buying show in Toronto.
The store’s dealer-owner, Mike Wilson, represents the fourth generation of his family to run the business in the town on the southwestern coast of the province, near the causeway to Cape Sable Island. Wilson also owns Wilson’s Shopping Centre Ltd. Next year, the store will celebrate its 100th year in business.
