Orgill announces executive changes

Orgill has appointed Laura Freeman to fill the newly created position of EVP, human resources, and chief human resources officer. She will join the company Jan. 3 after several years in a similar role with St. Louis-based grocery chain Schnucks.

At the same time, Orgill has promoted Chris Freader to the role of SVP, retail services. He was most recently VP, retail services. Other promotions include Geoff McCaslin as director, replenishment; Andrew Yount as director, vendor support; Jim Rivas as director, retail technology; and Peter Kim as director, cybersecurity.

Finally, Myron Boswell is retiring as VP of dealer sales, Northeast. Consequently, Todd Nowels will be moving from management of the Southeast region to succeed him. Paul Dupont is being promoted to take over the Southeast.
