Patrick Morin has turned to JRTech Solutions to outfit its future stores with Pricer’s SmartTAG graphic electronic shelf label (ESL).
It previously contracted JRTech in 2013 to install Pricer LCD labels in its stores. The chain will be transitioning its on-premise ESL software solution to Pricer Plaza, Pricer’s cloud-based SaaS solution. It will also be testing Pricer’s AI-driven ShelfVision solution to deal with planogram compliance and inventory management.
The upgrade of all existing stores will be completed by Q1 of 2024 with as many as 20 more stores to follow by 2027.
