Patrick Morin is looking to double its number of stores over the next 10 years. Part of that growth comes from new store openings, including ones slated for next spring in Brossard, Que., and 2023 or 2024 in Blainville. But the chain, which is jointly owned by Home Hardware and member business Groupe Turcotte, is also hoping to woo current RONA affiliates looking for a new home.
“We hear that some dealers would like to sell, that others don’t want to go along” with RONA’s acquisition by Sycamore Partners, president Louis Turcotte told Les Affaires. In total, Patrick Morin aims to add some 10 stores within the next five years and about 20 by 2032.
