CARY, N.C. — Ply Gem Holdings reported a Q1 loss of $3.6 million, approximately at par with analyst expectations. The company, whose products include patio doors and vinyl siding, saw net sales increase 5.2% to $430 million. Operating earnings were $11.8 million, an improvement of $2.3 million from the first quarter of 2016.
