VANCOUVER — PowerHouse Products Inc. has launched a patented “rainscreen insulation” to help meet Canada’s emerging insulation code requirements. Where most exterior rigid foam cannot drain when exposed to exterior water sources, Vertibreak is designed to both insulate and provide a code-conforming rainscreen/capillary break to promote drainage and drying. “The rainscreen is an embedded part of the exterior foam insulation,” explains Scott Emo, sales manager at PowerHouse.
