QUEBEC CITY ― The construction industry will be the focus of Quebec’s 11th industry “cluster”, economy minister Dominique Anglade has announced. Set to launch early next year, the cluster will bring together industry stakeholders to cooperate on issues of common concern. “We want to make sure that this industry can really co-ordinate its efforts to modernize itself, to think about innovation, to implement new processes,” said Anglade. The government is currently collaborating with the Conseil du patronat du Québec, which represents employers, for the launch, but construction unions will be involved as well.
