MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Revenues for Wal-Mart Canada took a hit from the bitterly contested battle for Canada’s retail markets, with same-store sales down 1.3%. The results echo a trend also experienced by grocers Metro and Loblaws, which also reported losses. The retail wars have worked in Wal-Mart’s favour too, however, with the company increasing its market share by 1%. Check out theglobeandmail.com
