MONTREAL — Richelieu Hardware reported growth in the second quarter, with consolidated sales rising 5.7% and sales in Canada up 3.4% from Q2 last year. Net earnings increased by 6.9%. In addition, the firm acquired two new specialty distributors, in Saskatchewan and Florida, adding a total of seven points of sale, and characterized its financial position as “excellent” with negligible debt.
