Richelieu closes Weston purchase

MONTREAL — Richelieu Hardware Ltd. has finalized its purchase of Weston Premium Woods Inc., a Brampton, Ontario-based distributor. Weston distributes a range of materials, decorative products, and hardwoods targeted to a customer base of kitchen and bathroom cabinet, storage and closet, home furnishing, and office furniture manufacturers, as well as residential and commercial woodworkers. The acquisition, Richelieu’s first this year, represents additional annual sales of about $60 million.
