Richelieu Hardware Ltd. reported its Q3 profits rose by almost 40 percent from the prior quarter. Profit attributable to shareholders was $38.7 million, or $0.69 per diluted share, compared to $28.7 million ($0.50) in Q3 of 2020. Sales rose to $373.3 million, from $311.2 million. Sales to Canadian hardware dealers and reno centres spiked by more than 16 percent, CFO Antoine Auclair told an investor call.
