RONA inc. has named Sylvain Girard as chief financial officer, a post vacated when J.P. Towner was promoted to CEO and president of the company. In a release, Towner hailed the appointment of “a seasoned leader with an exceptional track record in developing business strategies that deliver results and profitable growth.”
Girard has spent more than three decades in corporate financial services management. He was most recently SVP and CFO of Resolute Forest Products.
