RONA owner tops Young Retailer category

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — The Young Retailer Award at this year’s ORAs was presented to Tyler  Dueck, 34, owner of RONA Valley Enterprise in Rosenort, Man. Dueck has worked at the family store for most of his life, and became general manager at 24 years old. In 2015, along with partner Corey Robert, he acquired the business his uncles started in 1959. Originally a truss plant and lumberyard, it became a RONA dealer store in 2007. Under Dueck’s watch, store sales have grown nearly sevenfold.
