RONA Weyburn opens its doors

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — RONA Weyburn is celebrating its grand opening this weekend as dealer-owner Jeff Chessall and his family welcome residents of the area, which is near the Saskatchewan-North Dakota border. With a 10,000-square-foot sales area, a 25,000-square-foot outdoor lumber yard and a 3,000-square-foot garden centre, the store offers more than 7,500 products.

Philippe Element, VP of RONA sales and dealer support, said Chessall’s “enthusiasm, creativity and passion profoundly embody the values that make up the strength of our RONA affiliated dealer network. I am convinced that given his vast experience in retail and his sincere dedication, he will become a valued partner.” As part of the Lowe’s Canada Heroes Campaign, RONA Weyburn is supporting the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop, which aids adults with intellectual disabilities, including one store team member, in living independently.
