Sears offers jobs to Target employees

TORONTO — Sears Canada is offering employee discounts to Target staffers and inviting them to apply for jobs at Sears. Target faces imminent closing of all its stores in this country, which will put some 17,600 people out of work. Sears’ efforts to connect with the Target employees will include an open house at its downtown Toronto head office on January 21 and job fairs across Canada.
