TORONTO — Sears Canada again saw revenues decline in Q2, falling 9.1% from the comparable period last year for a total of $768.8 million. Same-store sales, however, declined by only 3.9% owing to store exits since last year, as well drops in the company’s print catalogue business and in logistics services sold to third parties. At the same time, the company said June marked a “turning point”, as same-store sales in its core retail network achieved positive growth. Over the quarter as a whole, same-store sales at core locations were down by only 1%.
