AMSTERDAM — Signify, the Dutch lighting company, has acquired Cooper Lighting from Eaton Corp. The acquisition is intended to give Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) a stronger foothold in the North American market. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020.
