Boni fuses with Forma Fil, Etalex

Equipement Boni, Forma Fil, and Etalex, the three companies operating under the umbrella of SJM Group, have united under the Etalex name. Etalex was founded in 1966 as L. D’Amour Inc. In 1982, then-owner Jacques Majeau purchased competitor Boni, adding Forma Fil in 1989. SJM Group was established as the parent of the three firms in 1995. Groupe Desjardins became its majority shareholder in late 2019.
