MIDDLETON, Wis. — David Lumley announced last week that he will step down as CEO of Spectrum Brands by the end of the year. The company said that the 60-year-old executive’s retirement was part of a planned succession process. Industry watchers favoured COO Andreas Rouvé as the likeliest candidate for the post, but the company indicated the position will be open to both internal and outside applicants.
