FRAMINGHAM, MASS. — Big box office retailer Staples has announced it will close up to 225 stores in Canada and the U.S. The company says that half its business is now online, and is looking for ways to adapt to the new reality, which makes the high overheads of a large-surface store more of a liability than ever before.
