Target Canada begins liquidation sale today

TORONTO — Discounts of up to 30% are awaiting Canadian shoppers looking for savings at 133 Target stores across the country today. The closing of Target’s operations here by mid-May will put more than 17,000 out of work and leave a number of suppliers wondering whether they will get paid for products and services they supplied to the giant U.S.-based retailer.
