MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Target Corp. will shutter 16 Canadian stores this week, the company told CBC News, in the first round of locations to wind down. The first stores affected are mostly in Ontario and Quebec, but British Columbia and Alberta will also see closures on Sunday. The liquidation of Target’s Canadian stores is expected to be complete by mid-May.
