MINNEAPOLIS — Target CEO Brian Cornell is bringing in his former Safeway colleague Anne Dament to head up planned changes to the big box’s grocery department, according to Fortune. Dament, most recently an executive at Pet Smart, comes on board as Cornell has expressed concern that the chain’s grocery selection doesn’t set it apart from the competition. Target announced the overhaul of its food selection last month.
