MINNEAPOLIS — Target is set to open the first of its “reimagined” stores this year outside Houston. The dual-concept stores will feature two separate entrances and two distinct areas—one for leisurely shopping and one for convenience shoppers buying groceries and picking up online orders. The new bricks-and-mortar strategy may help Target in its bid to lure away business from its competitors, especially Publix whose dominance in the Florida grocery market Target has struggled to undermine.
