As the appearance of the omicron variant of COVID-19 raises concerns, the CEO of Amazon’s Worldwide Consumer division says it’s too soon to predict what impact if any it will have on holiday shopping plans. “It’s very early in the process of understanding what’s happening with the new variant,” Dave Clark told CBS’s Face the Nation this past weekend. “Consumers are going to wait and see in terms of what happens but are going to move on with their lives into this holiday season.”
