BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Tremco Group has announced the acquisition of Chemtron Manufacturing, a Calgary-based maker of construction adhesives, sealants, and tapes, for an undisclosed sum. The business will operate as Chemtron International, in close co-operation with Tremco’s Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing Division. In addition to its headquarters and 52,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Calgary, Chemtron also has a distribution facility in Edmonton. The company has been jointly owned by brothers, Glenn and David Molnar. Glenn will join Chemtron International, Inc. as general manager and vice president – sales, and his son, Courtland, will take on the role of product line manager.
