Sales of existing U.S. homes declined by 7.2 percent in February, according to the (U.S.) National Association of Realtors, to an annualized pace of 6.02 million units. Sales were 2.4 percent below February 2021 levels. Economists polled by Bloomberg had estimated a 6.2 percent decline in home resales for the month.
