Sales of existing U.S. homes fell by 5.4 percent in June, according to data from the (U.S.) National Association of Realtors. The annualized rate of 5.12 million units was the slowest since June 2020, and 14.2 percent lower than last June. A total of 1.26 million units were on the market at month’s end, an increase of 2.4 percent from a year earlier.
