U.S. housing activity slows in April

U.S. housing starts seasonally adjusted in April fell 3.7% from the previous month, but up 10.5% year over year. Single-family housing starts in April were flat compared with March. Building intentions for houses were up 1.8% from the previous month, and up 7.7% from April 2017.
