BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Greg Foran is set to replace Bill Simon as CEO of Wal-Mart’s U.S. stores after more than a year of struggling sales at the retail giant, the Associated Press reports. It’s the second promotion this year for Foran, who was promoted to CEO of Wal-Mart Asia less than two months ago. A spokesperson for Wal-Mart said Simon’s decision to retire was “mutual.”
