BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart is studying drone technology as a way to deliver online orders right to its customers’ doors. The giant retailer has requested a waiver from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to test drones outdoors to determine whether the drones would be viable for deliveries. Amazon and Google are already testing drones for the same reason.
