MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Walmart Canada is seeking to immediately hire 10,000 new workers. The hiring news follows a $3.5 billion investment in the business to generate growth and simplify the connection for customers between online and in-store shopping. The investment over the next five years will lead to the use of advanced technologies to move products as quickly as possible. The jobs include e-commerce store associates, who pick items for online orders and prepare them for pickup and delivery. Other roles include drivers to make those deliveries and staff for the growing food and grocery side of Walmart Canada’s business.
