BENTONVILLE, Ark. ― This past Monday was “Prime Day” for Amazon, with the online seller promoting its premium Prime service in tandem with a celebration of its 20th anniversary. Sales for that day were up by triple digits over the same day last year, and the online promotions drove traffic into the stores.
