BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart will launch a service cashing tax refunds at some 3000 U.S. stores, in hopes of enticing customers to spend them in store. The retailer says the service would take as long as electronically filing for direct deposit, which often requires just a week to process. It could also help customers without bank accounts obtain their refunds more cheaply and quickly.
