Wolseley, the industrial plumbing and heating supplier, opened a new outlet this week in Ajax, Ont., on the east side of the Greater Toronto Area. But this location features a relatively new addition for the chain: “Wolseley Studio,” a showroom that features a range of higher-end fixtures and fittings, everything from faucets to lines of bath hooks and towel racks. The concept will no doubt provide added competition for traditional hardware and home improvement dealers.
