Matériaux H. Bondu Inc. in Notre-Dame-de-Pontmain, Que., is Castle Building Centres’ newest member dealer. Owner Louis Bondu took over the business in 2014, the third-generation owner in his family. “We wanted to stay independent and heard good things about Castle,” he said in a release.
“It was a good opportunity for our business to switch and with Castle’s buying power we will have access to a greater selection of products and vendor partners.” The full-service LBM and general store, under general manager Julie Cloutier, serves the Laurentides region six days a week, closing on Sundays. Founded in the late 1930s, it originally doubled as a medical clinic as well as a retailer.
