TORONTO — Sears Canada has made redundant 283 warehouse jobs while at the same announcing the outsourcing of its 1,345 call centre positions to the Philippines. The cuts continue the retailer’s bold three-year turnaround plan to consolidate its position amid an increasingly crowded field of competitors, the CBC reports.
