WASHINGTON — Construction spending in the U.S. in December was $930.5 billion seasonally adjusted, up 0.1% from November, and up 5.3% from December 2012. The value of construction in 2013 reached $898.4 billion, 4.8% above 2012, reports the U.S. Commerce Department.
