ST. JACOBS, Ont. ― Home Hardware Stores Ltd. has announced the addition of three new members in Quebec, bringing the banner’s total number of stores in the province to more than 135. Quincaillerie Limoilou in Quebec City was founded in 1992 by current dealer-owner Dominic Poulin’s parents. Today, he operates it with his wife Audrey Gendron and their son Mathieu.
In Baie-Comeau, Élise Caron and her husband Michel Charette have made the decision to transfer Matériaux Manic in Baie-Comeau, which they have owned since 2012, to the Home Hardware Building Centre banner. Réno Mat St-Etienne will reopen its doors in St-Etienne-de-Lauzon under the Home banner in April. Previously a Home Hardware Building Centre, it was sold to another group and later closed but is getting a fresh start under Jean-Sébastien St-Pierre’s new ownership.
