TORONTO — Target has no plans to roll out an online store for Canada in the immediate future, preferring to work out the kinks still remaining from its troubled entry into the country. “We know e-commerce needs to be part of our longer term strategy in Canada, but first we have to get the basics right,” spokesperson Eric Hausman told the Huffington Post Canada. Last week, the company bought Pittsburgh software firm Powered Analytics, which promises “an Amazon-like shopping experience” to customers in store.
No web store for Target soon
