MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Lortie et Martin Ltée, a large independent dealer in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Que., is the newest member to join Castle Building Centres Group. Founded in 1950 by René Lortie and now owned by his son Normand Lortie, the former RONA store is located in the Laurentians approximately 100 km north of Montreal. It has a 35,000-square-foot retail storefront plus a 180,000-square-foot lumberyard and warehouse. A second LBM warehouse also sits on the 400,000-square-foot lot. “The addition of Lortie et Martin Ltée to the Castle Building Centres Group is a significant step in our continued commitment to grow the Castle brand in Quebec,” said Ken Jenkins, president of Castle.
