BOUCHERVILLE, Que. ― BMR Group launched its second annual Holiday Operation last week, supplying Christmas trees to organizations that work with those in need. This year, BMR dealers from across Quebec opted to join the sixty-odd head office employees to donate and decorate trees. In a single day, more than 300 trees were distributed to 77 institutions, including child care centres in disadvantaged communities, residential and long-term care centres and youth centres. “The Holiday Operation is in its second year and is already gaining momentum,” said Stéphanie Couturier, VP for communications and corporate social responsibility. “From the very first year, there was a sense of excitement on the team. But to see BMR dealers across Quebec take ownership of the cause and bring it to their communities with such enthusiasm this year is really heartwarming.”
