BMR stores and managers were among the honourees at last weekend’s AQMAT Recognition Gala. Geneviève Peintre, hardware manager at BMR Uniag Coopérative in Napierville, took an Ascension prize for career growth. Julie Boucher, managing director of Matériaux Pont-Masson, which joined BMR last year, was recognized in the retail manager category.
BMR Express Uniag Coopérative received a Society prize while BMR Paulin Moisan in Saint-Raymond received a Perspective award for marketing. In the Heritage category, the Grégoire family was recognized for its record operating Quincaillerie JR Grégoire in Montreal. The store, under third-generation owner Delphine Grégoire (pictured), celebrated its 100th anniversary in its original location in 2020.
