VICTORIA — Castle Building Centres has sent out a release announcing the takeover of the Bay West RONA store in Victoria by Cook Street Castle dealers Frank and Vicki Hagel (as first reported by HARDLINES in our May 4 weekly edition! —your faithful Editor). RONA co-owner Brian Higgins chose to retire after a career that began in this industry as a Beaver Lumber dealer.
The Hagels say the new store is positioned to serve the needs of Victoria and Esquimalt communities, as well as the downtown small business area and the flourishing condo market of Greater Victoria.
