Costco posts July sales growth

ISSAQUAH, Wash. ― Costco Wholesale Corp. reported net sales of $10.59 billion for the retail month of July, an increase of 10.1 percent from $9.62 billion last year. For the first forty-eight weeks of fiscal 2018, the company reported net sales of $127.4 billion, an increase of 12.1 percent from $113.7 billion last year. Comparable sales for the month rose 3.2% for Canada and 8.3% overall.
