ATLANTA — Flooring and tiling retailer Floor & Decor is consulting banks in preparation for an initial public offering later this year. The 14-year-old company is at present owned by two private equity firms, Ares International LLC and Freeman Spogli & Co. Its 30 U.S. locations range from 60,000 to 100,000 square feet.
