Gypsum Management & Supply Inc. has announced its acquisition of Jawl Lumber Corp. Founded by the Jawl family in 1960 with one outlet in Victoria, it serves the Vancouver Island market under the Home Lumber and Building Supplies brand name. Home Lumber sells lumber, engineered wood, doors, framing packages, and related building materials.
“The Jawl Family has built a business that is aligned with our values, and a team that has served the building industry on Vancouver Island for decades,” said Paul Green, president of GMS Canada, in a release. “The legacy of high-integrity service they have provided will be carried on as we support the Home Lumber team.”
