Google tests drone delivery

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — The Atlantic has confirmed that Google conducted test flights in August of drone technology that will enable products to be shipped across cities in mere minutes. The tests wrap up the first phase of the secret two-year “Project Wing,” in partnership with MIT roboticist Nick Roy. Developers say the technology is not yet market-ready, but the obstacles remaining are “surmountable.”
