CHICAGO — Specialty MRO supplier Grainger had first-quarter sales of $2.4 billion, up 2% versus $2.4 billion in the first quarter of 2014. Net earnings for the quarter declined 3% to $211 million versus $217 million in 2014. For its Canadian operations, Acklands-Grainger sales decreased 8% in U.S. dollars but were up 3% in local currency.
